Earlier this year, Peyton participated in the Darling Downs and Southwest Qld Regional Championships for equestrian.

Now, she’s turned her attention to her next challenge - retaining the title of Warwick Rodeo Overall Fundraiser Queen.

Last year, Peyton raised $7,105.05 to be awarded the title, and she hopes to raise the bar this year, and reach $10,000.

Peyton’s mother, Katrina said, “Our beautiful little town has gotten behind Peyton, and businesses have given donations for raffles, and some have also given cash donations.”

Between her hectic equestrian schedule, and being a Distance Education student, Peyton has been working hard to fundraise  to achieve her goal.

Horseland Toowoomba is Peyton’s business partner for 2024.

Other supporters include Circle L and Roaming Palomino, which is run by a family friend.

Custom t-shirts have been designed by Roaming Palomino and the proceeds will be donated toward Peyton’s fundraising quest.

The judging for Rodeo Queen will be held on Saturday, 12th October at the Warwick Rodeo Grounds.

Peyton will be riding Australia Stock Horse: A Fox Zee Max (pictured) in the horsemanship component, followed by an interview with the judges.

Between 21st and 27th October, the Warwick Rodeo and Gold Cup Campdraft will be held, and Peyton’s duties include school visits, sponsor visits, street parade, grand entries, and presenting prizes and cheques.
