This year was the first time the ceremony was held in Oakey State High School’s new multipurpose hall, which was opened at the beginning of 2024.

OSHS 2025 School Leaders Isabella Ferguson, Tessa Gale, Connie Bradley, and Ethan Altadonna were MCs for the assembly, which started with an Acknowledgment of Country by 2025 Indigenous Leader Pipah Collins.

Teacher Mrs Rebecca Birch delivered a rendition of the national anthem, which was followed by a welcome from Deputy Principal Mr Lachlan O’Connell and Senior School Head of Department Mrs Jodie Beauchamp.

The final roll call was read out with photos of the Year 12s on their first day of school juxtaposed against their current school photo.

Principal Mr Danny Keenan congratulated the departing Class of 2024 and wished them well in their future life journeys.

The 2024 School Captains Charlie Kaiser, Alyssa Rodighiero, Jessica Mailman and Chloe White, along with Student Council Leader Van Ryan thanked the students’ teachers and families in attendance for their support over the 12 years of school.
