Women’s Health Nurses here to help!
Pittsworth’s biennial Health Expo was held in the Function Centre last Thursday, with 34 health service providers on display, including the Mobile Women’s Health Nurses.
The Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service facilitates monthly visits to Pittsworth and Millmerran with Women’s Health Nurses, Sara and Gemma.
It is a free service (with a Medicare card) and the nurses can provide advice on contraception, perimenopause, menopause, sexual dysfunction, osteoporosis and period problems.
They can also perform cervical and sexual health screening tests, and are available for group information talks.
Sara’s next visit to Pittsworth will be on Monday, 28th October at the Physio on the Move building, beside the Afternoons and Coffeespoons cafe, in Yandilla Street.

Millmerran’s next clinic will be on Tuesday, 29th October at the Millmerran Multipurpose Health Service at 50 Commens Street.
