Who’s ready for Christmas?
Preparations are well underway for the fun-filled “Christmas in Pittsworth” event which is set for next Tuesday, 10th December.
Organised by the Pittsworth District Alliance (PDA), the event will be held at the Pittsworth Showgrounds this year.
Rhonda Ashton, PDA President, said the event had outgrown its time in Centenary Park, where it had been hosted for several years.
The gates will be open from 4pm and entry is free.
It is $5 per person for access to unlimited rides that include the Dodgems, Sizzler, Cup and Saucer, Land Train and an obstacle course.
There’ll be live entertainment from musician Andrew Kucks.
Jason the balloon man, Madcap fire twirling, kids crafts and face painting will also provide some entertainment for the children before Santa’s arrival later in the evening.
The PDA will announce the winners of the Light Up For Christmas competition, the Pittsworth Dollar Card raffle, and Santa and his Friends competition.
The evening is estimated to conclude around 8pm.
