What's happening in Clifton this Australia Day
On Friday, January 26, from 7am to 10am, Pioneer Park on King Street will be the venue for Australia Day celebrations, where a free barbecue breakfast and the Australia Day awards ceremony will take place.

While the 26th January date of our National Day of celebration is challenged by some groups, the polls still show the majority of Australians support the date as appropriate and do not entertain the idea of change.
Organisers of celebrations hope Australians show their support for the day by turning out for the Awards Ceremonies that are being held in towns all across the Darling Downs.
Many Australians will use the day to wave the flag and rejoice in the fact they still live in a great and free nation.
Please bring your own chair or picnic blanket.
