Westbrook’s fortnightly dances proving popular

It’s never too early for a little romance and so it proved as the Westbrook Hall committee held its Valentine’s Day Dance on Saturday the 8th with a very well attended event of Old Time and New Vogue Dances with music by Lyn and Ian.

Westbrook Hall provides a great community function by holding dances every fortnight and people from every corner of the Darling Downs and beyond attend and always enjoy a great night of social dancing.

Next dance is February the 22nd when music will be supplied by ever popular DJ Frankie with music mainly from the ‘70s and ‘80s.

Proceeds from the evening go towards hall maintenance and the annual donation to Blush Cancer Care Toowoomba.

Blush Cancer Care is dedicated to improving the wellbeing of breast cancer patients in Toowoomba, Darling Downs and the Lockyer Valley and supports patients from diagnosis through to treatment and beyond, thanks to the hard work of volunteers and the generosity of community organisations such as the Westbrook Hall Committee.

Entry to the Dance is $12.50 and that includes a home made supper with lucky door and spot prizes.

So if its a night of dancing and social interaction you want then Westbrook Hall dances are the place to be.

Dancing begins at 7pm and concludes at 11pm.
