Westbrook park plans unveiled
The design for the development of Carla Crescent Park in Westbrook has been completed, with work by Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) expected to commence next month.

TRC Environment and Community Committee portfolio leader Councillor Tim McMahon said the upgrade works to improve the parkland area will include the provision of:
Sheltered picnic setting, park seats and a water bubbler.
New play features including a basket swing, embankment slide and digging play area.
Sandstone climbing steps, sleeper steps and an upgraded concrete entry path.
Level play area including netball hoops and landscaping.
Cr McMahon said he looks forward to the completion of this project and the addition of new recreational facilities for the local community.
“Council continues to fund and progress a range of park-land improvements for district and local parks across the Region and is committed to ensuring that our residents have access to high quality recreational facilities,” he said.
Works are scheduled to be completed by July 2022.
