Westbrook’s new grocery store
Westbrook locals embraced their new IGA store last Friday with a big crowd passing through the doors right after the doors opened for business at 8am.

The crisp new look of the old mini market at Westbrook, now trading as The Local Grocer IGA, now offers a wide range of grocery and perishable goods. The re-design has enabled the introduction of new fresh food departments with a better range of produce, bakery items and deli products.
Members of Westbrook Lions are strong supporters of anything that’s good for the local area and on Friday treasurer Rod Tillotson and president Greg Freeleagus were working the barbecue where gold coin donations were accepted with funds going to the Westbrook Hall and Bunker’s Hill State School.
