Maguire’s songs have travelled the airwaves far and wide, as they have been used by Greenpeace and Hollywood, playlisted on both national ABC and BBC Radio, and performed in prisons and psychiatric hospitals as well as concert halls and theatres across the UK and Ireland.

She is open about her struggles with bipolar disorder since publishing her first book, ‘Start Over Again’, her experience of mental health recovery and her practice of Buddhist meditation over the past 20 years have strongly influenced her songwriting.

Maguire’s songs have been described as “bathed in raw, emotional power,” (in Guitarist magazine) and her live show is a moving and thought-provoking experience not to be missed.

The visit to Felton is part of a southern Queensland tour as a duo with her husband Christian Dunham, who is on bass.

After 12 years away in the UK, the couple is delighted to be back on the family goat farm in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, where they used to finance their record label Shaktu Records by making goat’s cheese.

They are currently working on Emily’s seventh album, due for release later this year.
