Welcome To The Allora Showgrounds
The President of the Allora Show Society Shirley Cornhill welcomes everyone including newcomers to the district to become involved in the activities at the Showgrounds.
There’s always something interesting happening.
You may have a hobby or trade you’d like to share with like-minded people.
Hobbies such as art and craft, cooking or woodworking to produce, flowers, pot plants, fruit and veges.
Of course a big part of the events at the Showgrounds involve poultry, cattle, horses, goats, sheep and dogs.
Some of the main events held throughout the year include the Allora Heritage Weekend in January, the famous Allora Show in February and the Heavy Horse Weekends.
Volunteers are most welcome as help is needed in the Canteen, with Gate Keeping and or course there’s continuous maintenance to be done. A plus for the Showground is disabled parking now available inside the grounds.
