Wattles Juniors Successful at Walker Carnival

Wattles Under 13 team competed in the recent 2024 Brown Steel Walker Weekend Annual Challenge in Toowoomba, winning the Luke Walker Plate.

The fifth Walker Weekend Challenge saw the best of the Toowoomba Junior Rugby League Clubs best male and female under-13 teams square off against each other along with clubs from Laidley, Roma, Warwick, Jimboomba, the Central Downs and the South Burnett.

Wattles Jade Bailey was named Bulldogs Player of the Final for the Luke Walker Plate decider against Warwick’s Collegians, an award sponsored by the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Academy.

Brisbane Broncos representatives were on hand to support the Walker Weekend Challenge, and named a best player from all teams at the end of the two-day event, with Toby Cruikshank the Wattles recipient.

Wattles Junior Warriors are looking towards the commencement of the 2024 Warwick & District Junior Rugby League premiership, their initial fixtures against the Tenterfield Tigers at Clifton home base Platz Oval on Saturday April 20th.
