Wattles Juniors Celebrate 2023
Players, officials and supporters of Wattles Junior Rugby League Club celebrated one of their most successful seasons on Saturday at the Club’ s annual Presentation Day at Clifton’s Platz Oval.
President of Wattles Juniors Aaron Gilmore acknowledged and congratulated the club’s near 200 players along with volunteers, sponsors and supporters for their contribution to the junior club’s 44th season.
A highlight of the season was Wattles’ Under 13 team’s Warwick & District Junior Rugby League premiership success, and
the efforts of the Under 15 and 17 teams qualifying for the grand finals.
The Under 15 and 17 girls league tag teams also qualified for the 2023 finals series.
Mr Gilmore said a break will be welcomed, but 2024 was looking to be as successful, given the enthusiasm of all involved on Saturday.
