Wattles hosting Alzheimer’s Foundation Fundraiser in honour of Margaret Hentschel
This Sunday will see Wattles gather to pay tribute to Life Member Margaret Hentschel a former long serving club committee member and current sponsor and dedicated supporter.
Wattles President Amanda O’Halloran said “Wattles recognise Mrs Hentschel’s years of dedication and generosity having given so much to the Wattles Clubs, senior and junior, and is currently battling everyday with this disease that affects so many.”
Coinciding with what will be the final fixture round of the season, and Wattles final home game of 2023, the club will be hosting a fund raiser for a charity close to their heart, that being the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
Alzheimer’s disease has affected the Wattles club in many ways over past years, with the loss of numerous club linked family members.
The Wattles community are invited and encouraged to attend Platz Oval on Sunday to cheer on the mighty Warriors and support a vital charity.
