Wattles 1998 champions to reunite
Wattles Rugby League Club will celebrate their 2023 Old Boys Day this Sunday at their Clifton based home ground Platz Oval.
Aside from past players, officials and volunteers gathering on the day, Wattles’ 1998 Toowoomba Rugby League Premiership Winning Under 19 team will hold a reunion.
The team that bathed themselves and the Wattles club in glory 25 years ago were as pictured:
Back: Denis Dempsey (Strapper), Bruce Lyons, Robert Woodbridge, Stephen Robinson, Matthew Collins, Justin Boyle, Russell McMillan, Chris Malone, Justin Bowe (Coach), Roger Robinson (Manager).

Aside from the Old Boys and reunion festivities, Wattles will take on the Warwick Cowboys in Under 18, Reserve Grade and A Grade fixtures from 11.30 am.
