Volunteers Needed for The Allora Show
The President of the Allora Show Society has put a call out for volunteers to help as this year’s Allora Show.
It takes a dedicated team to bring this amazing event to life so any time you could help at the Show would be appreciated.
Assistance is needed in a variety of tasks such as -
Pre-event setup and post-event cleanup
Rodeo setup and pull-down
Preparation of the main arena for horse events
Show Jumping stewards
Gate Keepers, Marshalls, and general Stewards
If any of these roles are of interest please contact the Allora Show Society Committee.
Additionally, the Society is specifically seeking volunteers to help behind the bar. Due to changes in Public Liability insurance, all bar servers must have their RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol).
The Show Society is happy to assist you in obtaining your RSA if you’re willing to lend a hand!

Grant For Allora Show Society
The Southern Downs Regional Council has granted the Allora Show Society $7,500.
This funding will be used for children’s entertainment meaning additional fun for the kids at the Show.
The Allora Show Society is extremely grateful for the Council’s support for one of our major events in Allora.
