Vital firies recognised

The members of the Cambooya Rural Fire Brigade quite literally save lives and their crucial role in the community has been acknowledged by the Minister for Fire and Emergency Services, Mark Ryan.

Last Saturday, 6 August, some of the Cambooya Rural Fire Brigade members were presented with their service medals at Charlton by Mr Ryan.

They were: 

Christopher Palmblad - (former member) Diligent and Ethical Service Medal for 10 years service.

David Payne - Fire Warden and Support member, 1st clasp for Diligent Ethical Service for 20 years service.

Brock Greer - Crew Leader member, 15 years National Medal for service.

Garry Greer - First Officer member, 1st clasp for 25 years of service for National Medal.

Allan Bellingham - Crew Leader member, 1st and 2nd clasp for 25 years and 35 years of service for National Medal.

Michael Henry - Crew Leader member, 1st clasp for 25 years of service for National Medal.
