Visit Allora during Jumpers and Jazz
The Allora & District Historical Society is excited to be involved with the Jumpers & Jazz Festival - it’s a wonderful opportunity to promote Allora - the Best Little Town on the Downs. Two full days in Allora of walks, displays and country cooking on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th July.

The guided historical tours of Town and Cemetery always prove very popular and need to be booked early.
The leisurely 2 hour historic town tour leaves at 8.30am from 53 Warwick Street on both Saturday and Sunday with Trevor Neale your guide.
On Saturday 17th there’ll be a Four Churches Tour. Tour will include: St Patricks Catholic Church, St Andrews United Church, former Methodist Church and St Davids Anglician Church together with Roseneath and other significant historical sites along Warwick Street.
Sunday 18th Town Tour includes Roggenkamp crossing, seven hotels, two flour mills Railway Station and the Fallen Soldiers Memorial Park.
Then the Allora cemetery 1 hour walk with Colin heads off at 12 noon from the Mitchener Shelter Shed at the Cemetery.
As there’s a maximum of 15 per group please pre-book and pre-pay $10 pp per tour with Wendy on 0488 673 778 or email adhssec@gmail.com. Both Museums in Allora will be open all weekend from 9am until 3pm with entry $5 adult and children under 14 free.
A lot of interest with a new display of 1920-1940 Jazz Era clothing. No need to go hungry as the CWA ladies will provide scrumptious country cooking with coffee or tea.
The trees and fences between the CWA building and Old Shire Chambers at 53 Warwick Street will be decorated and yarn bombed, fitted with the Jumpers & Jazz theme - a good opportunity for a fun photo!
