Times announced for local Anzac Day services
The order of ceremonies for the Anzac Day services in Westbrook, Greenmount and beyond has been announced.
WESTBROOK
Residents are encouraged to participate in the Westbrook ANZAC Day Dawn Service.
Dawn Service - 5.30am at Westbrook Community Hall,
114 Main Street Westbrook.
GREENMOUNT
Residents are invited to attend the Anzac Day Services at Greenmount, Ramsay Street on Thursday 25 April 2024 as follows:
9.45am – Assemble for March to Memorial for service
10.00am - Memorial Service at Memorial
11.30am - Morning Tea at Greenmount Soldiers Memorial Hall
Members of the public are invited to lay a wreath and bring a plate to share for morning tea.
TOOWOOMBA
5.15am Parade commences from Toowoomba Bus Station Neil Street, ending at Mothers’ Memorial, Toowoomba
5.30am Dawn Service commences and will conclude at approximately 6.15am at Mothers’ Memorial, Toowoomba
9.00am Wreath Laying Ceremony at Mother’s Memorial
10.00am Parade commences from the Margaret / Neil Streets intersection, ending at Mother’s Memorial, Toowoomba
10.15am Mid-Morning Service commences and will conclude at approximately 11.00am at Mother’s Memorial
CLIFTON
Dawn Service: 5.15am – Assemble at the Cenotaph, 5.30am – Dawn Service at the Cenotaph
Mid-Morning Service - Assemble Cnr King Street and Meara Place. 10.30am – Assemble for Parade, 10.45am – Parade moves off (March down King Street to Cenotaph), 11.00am – Service at Cenotaph.
Members of the public are invited to lay a wreath at the Cenotaph.
