Time to step up
Burgeoning leaders across our district have been embracing their new roles as school captains, house captains, student council representatives and year six leaders this year.

This has certainly been the case at Wyreema State School, where earlier this month, the school came together as a school community and celebrated the leaders for 2024.
The students were presented with their Senior Shirts by Senior Constable Tylarr Coleman and the school’s P&C President, Mrs Jess Barber.
The students will be working hard to build their capabilities in leadership across the year and representing the school positively.
This year, there is a cohort of 22 Year 6 students who have started the year well with their teacher, Miss Jessica Doyle.
