Fire crews, paramedics and police were sent to the scene of the crash, which occurred around 9.45am.

Vehicles involved were a large delivery truck, a small Suzuki sedan and a small Hyundai passenger van.

Paramedics transported one person in a stable condition from the scene to Warwick Hospital.

The female patient was the driver of the sedan, and is from Thuringowa in North Queensland.

Senior Constable Tyson Morris of Clifton Police said the north-bound truck hit the guardrail of the bridge, forcing the vehicle to swerve side-to-side as it crossed the bridge.

The driver of the van avoided the truck but the truck swung back and side-swiped the van.

The truck then struck the front of the Suzuki.

The truck driver has been charged with careless driving of a motor vehicle.

Firefighters extinguished a small grass fire which had started beside the highway adjacent to King’s Creek, as a result of the crash.
