Three dead following car crash on Oakey Bridge
A multi-vehicle crash in Oakey has claimed three lives.
Three people have died after a car crash on the Warrego Highway near Oakey.
The incident happened at 11:20am on the Oakey Bridge, when a sedan collided with a truck.
A woman, a young child and a male passenger, all from the sedan, were killed.
Multiple police, three fire units and multiple ambulances attended the scene.
Traffic is being diverted through Oakey while forensic detectives investigate.
The Warrego Highway is expected to be closed for several hours.
