There’s a new agent in town
Many residents will have noticed the new realty in town, Downs Property Agents, located in Yandilla Street.
Downs Property Agents was developed from the expertise and vision of Principal Tony Dever, whose passion for real estate and knowledge of Darling Downs property were the driving force that brought this service to the residents of Pittsworth.
The office officially opened in August this year and Mr Dever said he’s been extremely overwhelmed by the support of the local community.
With a long history in agribusiness, Mr Dever’s specialty is in negotiation, marketing and business acumen.
He is also a fully qualified auctioneer.
Mr Dever always had a passion for real estate, and considered finding a shopfront office space his next logical step in bringing the services of Downs Property Agents to the Pittsworth community.
The new realty takes pride in offering a broad spectrum of real estate services from residential and rural sales, auctioneering, and rental management.
The team is already expanding, with the addition of Sophie Facer, who recently began as Administration Officer.
Ms Facer grew up at Leyburn with a passion for rugby league which has seen her play for both Pittsworth Danes and Souths over the years.
This year, she had the opportunity to captain her representative rugby league team, Asia United, in the opening game for the Titans and Warriors, representing her Filipino heritage with pride.
Since beginning at Downs Property Agents, Ms Facer’s eagerness to learn more about real estate services has quickly increased.
She hopes to soon commence her studies to become a property manager, and begin her real estate career at Downs Property Agents.
Mr Dever lives with his wife Sam and their two children on a lifestyle property in Pittsworth.
The new Downs Property Agents office in Yandilla Street was formerly the Dayzee Lane Pet Shop and originally Pittsworth Travel.
