Thank you Meals on Wheels volunteers
Some of the unsung heroes of Clifton’s volunteers are members of the Meals on Wheels organisation, who were treated to a Christmas lunch to thank them for their efforts over the year.
Spirits were high at the Clifton Arms last Thursday, where the Meals on Wheels Christmas party was held.
Clifton Meals on Wheels has been operating for around 40 years.
It works in conjunction with Clifton Community Health Services.
Each volunteer was thanked with a certificate.
Meals on Wheels are exciting about the addition of St. Francis de Sales School next year.
The school’s principal and the year 6 students will be volunteering, helping to deliver meals.
