Tennis champions crowned
Another season of tennis has ended for the Oakey and District Tennis Club with a big congratulations going to the Tuesday night fixture winners Lester Bach and Sarah Wolski and the Bilbies team which took out the Thursday night fixtures final.
The Bilbies was named Thursday Night winner. The team includes Melissa Bennett, Adrian Delaney and Sarah Wolski.
The Thursday night fixtures ended on May 20 with a great final between Bilbies team, made up of Melissa Bennett, Sarah Wolski and Adrian Delaney and the Crocs, featuring Jarred Sutton, Hayden Bennett and Damien Peters.
The Bilbies came out on top at the end of the night in front of a great crowd.
The Thursday night fixtures begin again in September.

The Oakey and District Tennis Club has social tennis running every Tuesday morning.
It starts at 8am and costs $5.
Saturday afternoon social tennis will commence this Saturday, June 5 at 1pm.
The cost to play is $5 and everyone is welcome.
