Tate-Roche Named in Clydesdales
Wattles form front-rower Cooper Tate-Roche has been named in the Toowoomba Clydesdales to contest this weekend’s QRL 2024 47th Battalion Trophy Divisional Championships at Kingaroy.

While missing in action in the past two fixture due to suspension, the 21-year-old has been a damaging ‘Mr Consistency’ in Wattles top grade pack throughout the season.
A former Western Clydesdales forward, Tate-Roche will add plenty of go forward to the Toowoomba front line with his 188 cm 110 kg frame.
Wattles try-scoring centre Matt Christensen, who is no stranger to the 47th Battalion Trophy Carnival in recent years, is an absentee for this weekend, having to withdraw with a knee injury.
Christensen was one to shine in Wattles 62 – 12 win over Brothers at Clifton on Saturday, contributing two tries to the home side total.
Open men’s and women’s competing teams at this weekend’s two-day event at T.J. O’Neill Oval include QLD Outback, Sunshine Coast, Rockhampton, Gladstone, Burnett, Bundaberg, Central Highlands & Wide Bay
