Coach Brad Smith said Jackson’s form was very strong and it was an experience that would never be forgotten.

“They treat ‘em like film starts over there,” he said.

“They had ‘em up on billboards and everything.

“He’s going very well.”

Promoter Brendan Smith said Jackson had a wonderful experience.

“He fought very well,” he said.

“He was smart and got him good and clean.

“He said he felt really comfortable out there.”

At the age of 21 and now 11 and 0, Stoneleigh has his  sights set on December 2 in his home town of Pittsworth where he will face fighter Srisang from Thailand.

“The bloke he’s going up against is pretty well known in Thailand and has a nine knockout record,” Brendan said.

“He comes forward, Jackson comes forward so it should be good fight to watch.

“Jackson’s had the Queensland titles, he’s had the Australasian title, and now the WBC Australasian titles.”

“This will be the biggest fight Pittsworth has ever seen.”

“Training is intense.

“He’ll be working very hard.

“When he finished in India, two days later he was sparring against a French fighter in Thailand.”

“He’s the Pride of Pittsworth, and he’s and absolute gentleman.

“People love him here and that’s why the fight is coming to Pittsworth.”

So far Jackson has won all of his fights.

Earlier this year, he beat Hunter Ioane for the ANBF Australasian title at the Pittsworth Town Hall in July and Faavesi Isaako at Rumours International in Toowoomba in March.

Prior to that, in October last year, he beat Aaron Stahl at the Pittsworth Town Hall for the ANBF Queensland welterweight title.

More than 600 spectators packed into the Pittsworth Town Hall for the Iaone bout and it’s hoped similar numbers will attend for the WBF Australasian title bout.
