St Monica’s priests celebrate major milestones
The St Monica’s Catholic Parish Oakey came together to celebrate the priesthood anniversaries of Father Thomas Areekuzhy and Father Mick Carroll at a special Family Mass held at the local church last month.

The local community thanked Fr Areekuzhy for his 40 years of service to the Catholic Church and Fr Carroll for 60 years of service.
Following the mass, guests gathered at the parish hall for morning tea.
A celebration cake was cut to honour both men.
Families and staff from the St Monica’s School community also attended the event, highlighting the positive impact Fr Areekuzhy and Fr Caroll have on local young people.
