St Monica’s go for gold
The students and staff at St Monica’s Primary School got into the Olympic spirit recently by dressing up as their favourite Australian Olympic representative.
Prep to Year 6 students, their teachers and school staff wore green and gold to celebrate Australian successes in the Olympic Games.
From soccer, rugby and cricket players, to runners and equestrian performers, the students showcased their favourite Olympic sport through their outfit choice.
The event also prompted students to consider the Olympic values of excellence, friendship and respect in their everyday life.
