Spring Creek Caravan Park seeks expansion
The owners of Spring Creek Caravan Park have submitted an application to Toowoomba Regional Council requesting an expansion of five additional cabins, four powered sites and six self-maintained sites.

The application was submitted by Wall Planning & Environmental Consulting on behalf of Barry Noel Diete and Kaylene Ann Diete.
The proposed expansion will be on the same 10,750m2 lot of land on the corner of the New England Highway and Spring Creek Road that the existing caravan park occupies.
There are currently 20 powered caravan parks sites, four cabins, an amenities block, the manager’s residence and a shed at the caravan park.
Each new cabin will be 7.6m x 3.3m, constructed onsite and include an awning/ carport.
The drawing of the site submitted as part of the application shows the five cabins will be built on the north-eastern side of the caravan park near Spring Creek Road.
The four powered sites are planned to be built on the eastern side bordering the New England Highway.
The six self-maintained sites will be positioned just south of them, with a new amenities block to be built between the two.
The application states the existing tourist park has been operating for approximately 27 years.
