Showgrounds RV ready
The gates have been swung open at the Pittsworth Showgrounds for the first RVs and caravans.
Visitors are permitted to stay for up to 72 hours for just $10 per night and are able to make use of the on-site dump point, thanks to the joint project between Pittsworth District Alliance and the Pittsworth Show Society.
Alliance secretary Belinda McKinlay said the RV area was an easy walk to the boutique shops and cafes of Pittsworth.
Up to 18 sites will be available and bookings can be made via the website www.pittsworth.org
Travellers can bring their dog as long as it is kept under control at all times.
The site will not be available during March and April when the Pittsworth Show and Campdraft are taking place.
At just under 40 minutes from Toowoomba, Pittsworth is an ideal distance for Toowoomba folk wanting to test their new RVs and vans, before embarking on the big trip.
