Season ends for Wattles’ promising Under 13s

In Junior Rugby League, Wattles’ courageous Nutrien Harcourts Cooke Real Estate Under 13s contested their semi-final against a clinical Collegians Dragons outfit, eventually losing in a one-sided affair 42-6.

After taking the honours as initial try scorers, the young Warriors struggled to retain momentum and were outplayed in their efforts to stay in touch with their opponents. 

Team mentor Glen McMillan said, “While disappointing to finish our season with a tough loss, as coach I couldn’t be prouder of the team’s development throughout the year. 

“As a team we wish our club mates, the Under 17 boys and girls league tag side the very best of luck in next weekend’s grand finals.”
