Santa Fair is back this Saturday
Santa Fair is only days away, with preparations ramping up for the return of one of Oakey’s traditional Christmas events this Saturday, 9th December, at the Oakey Rugby League Grounds on Kent Street.
Oakey Chamber of Commerce President Andrew Langton thanked sponsors for their support and encouraged Oakey residents to get down to enjoy some Christmas cheer.
“We want to highlight a big thank you to New Acland Mine for being a platinum sponsor,” he said.
“They’ve come on board this year.
“We’ll have a full stage show featuring local dances, entertainment and Christmas carols.
“We’ve also got our Christmas markets and Eat Street.
“Unfortunately we haven’t been able to have it the last three years, so it’s great to have it again.”
PCYC Oakey Connect will have a Youth Hang-out including bean bags and Lolly Jar Guess, Colouring Competition, Music and Karaoke with many prizes on offer.
As part of the festivities Oakey’s Eat Street is back for its third iteration and will feature the following amazing vendors to look after your Saturday summer holiday dinner:

Santa Fair is on Saturday from 4 to 8pm at the Oakey Rugby League Grounds.
