Roll up for Golden Oldies Bowls
Pittsworth Bowls Club is already a hive of activity and another option is about to be added to the mix.
The Club is planning to introduce a social-style morning, with Golden Oldies Bowls, every week.
The man charged with organising the Golden Oldies Bowls is Lex Guymer.
Lex said it is planned to make it a fun morning every Wednesday for men and ladies.
The first day will be next Wednesday the 25th of October.
Starting time will be 10am each week, with the exception of the first Wednesday of the month, when the Golden Oldies will start at 9am.
It will run for two hours every week.
Lex said anyone is welcome to be part of it as no experience with bowls is necessary.
And to that end, the Club has bowls available, although anyone who has their own bowls can bring them if they prefer.
The cost is just $5 per morning.

And for those who enjoy the atmosphere of the Pittsworth Bowls Club, as well as conducting regular competition and social events, the club is open every day for socialising and meals are available for lunch and dinner each Friday.
