Ride for a Roof returns to Wyreema
Bracknell Lodge in Wyreema will be hosting the Ride for a Roof charity rodeo on Saturday, 22 March from 2pm to 10pm.

Ride for a Roof is organised by Common Ground Foundation, which provides affordable accommodation to regional families who must travel for medical help accessing hospital and health services in Toowoomba.
There are three, two-bedroom self-contained units at Picnic Point in Toowoomba which families can use.
Expect an action-packed afternoon and evening of thrilling first class entertainment and fun to support a critical cause, raising money
to accommodate regional patients who have to travel for medical treatment.
In glamorous hats and heels attire guests can look forward to an Xtreme Broncs Feature with Australia’s best Cowboys, Xtreme Ladies Feature, Calcutta, Fashions on the Field, guest speakers, live auction, live music featuring Luke Geiger, cocktails and gambling table fun.
Felicity Burton, Founding Director of Common Ground Foundation said a strong family unit is the backbone of all of our communities.
“We can all rally as a community and keep our families together,” Ms Burton said.
“Help us create a regional legacy that is to lookout for each other and comes from a place of empathy, kindness and community spirit that will enable families to be together as they travel the medical road.”
The action will include an Xtreme Broncs Australia Shootout of top 25 riders and the Xtreme Ladies Feature - three women who went to the USA earlier this year representing Australia in Women’s Ranch Bronc Riding.
Guest Speakers include rugby league legend Shane Webcke, Dallas Daley and Maree Balmain.
Hayley Coburn, a Women’s Ranch Bronc Rider competing in Xtreme Ladies Feature said the cause is important to her.
“I hail from a rural background and have seen first-hand the significant financial and mental burden families endure when they have no choice but to diverse long distances and sometimes relocate away from there homes in order to seek medical care,” Ms Coburn said.
“Genuine mateship and resilience are attributes of our rural people and to me the Common Ground Foundation is a symbol of this.”
Bracknell Lodge, a function venue on the southern side of Wyreema township, can be found at 56 Rosenbergers Road, Wyreema.
