Respected doctor leaving Clifton
Clifton Community Health Services (CCHS) has announced the impending departure of Dr Santiago Monsalve from the Clifton Medical Practice after more than three years of dedicated service to thousands of patients.
Dr Santiago has informed the Board and Management of CCHS that he will be relocating interstate for family reasons and his last day at the Medical Practice will be 20th September.
Ms Wannapa Foytong, Executive Director Operations expressed her sentiments on behalf of the whole team and the community.
“It has been a pleasure working with Dr Santi, and we wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavours,” Ms Foytong said.
“Dr Santi has consistently demonstrated hard work and dedication to CCHS and his patients and he will be greatly missed.”
Chair of the Board of Directors, Mr Andrew Douglas, commended Dr Santiago for his critical role in providing quality health care to the Clifton Community and residents.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors, I extend our sincere thanks and heartfelt gratitude for his care and significant contribution and tireless dedication in serving the community of Clifton,” he said.
“We congratulate Dr Santi on his new role and wish he and his family all the very best for the future.”
In light of Dr Santi’s departure CCHS announced it has successfully secured the services of several General Practitioners alongside retaining the valued services of Dr Franco.
Starting from the end of September the following General Practitioners will be available: Dr Fanf-Wei Chen, Dr Jagdeep Gill, Dr Stephanie McIntosh, Dr Francisco Rodriguez and Dr Shahid Waleed.
Clifton Medical Practice will continue to operate five days a week and the Practice is committed to ensuring a seamless transition for all patients.
