Relocated rose garden thrives
After relocating to the grounds of the Millmerran Multipurpose Health Service, locals will be pleased to see the Arthur Ezzy Memorial Rose Garden is thriving.

The garden was relocated in August last year from the old hospital grounds.
Today, the roses are in full bloom with multiple colours and varieties displayed.
The Hospital Auxiliary established the garden, and named it after Arthur Ezzy, who was a board member of the Toowoomba Hospital Auxiliary when the Millmerran Hospital opened in 1952.
Across the span of 21 years, more than 40 families have planted roses in the garden, in memory of their deceased loved ones.
It’s a heartwarming sight to see the garden flourishing in its new location, and to know each rose is a representation of someone who was loved and is dearly missed.
