QAS awards for Clifton volunteers

Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) has presented Commissioner’s Certificates of Appreciation and badges for service to members of the Clifton Local Ambulance Committee (LAC).

Awards were presented to three LAC members during a visit to Clifton last week by Assistant Commissioner for the Darling Downs and South West Peta Thompson.

The recently-appointed Ms Thompson visited Clifton as part of a familiarisation tour of the entire Region.

At Clifton she spoke with local QAS paramedic John Gilbert and Officer in Charge Chris Fulton and several members of the LAC outlining various aspects of current and future moves in the Ambulance Service in the region.

Ms Thompson presented 30 years’ service badges and Certificates to Ruth Hungerford and Bernadette Trimingham and a 5 years’ service badge and Certificate to Ted Rogers.
