The Bullying No Way: National Week of Action is held between 12 and 16 August, and was formerly a day of awareness called The National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence.

This initiative connects schools and communities to find workable solutions to prevent bullying.

The theme for 2024 is ‘everyone belongs’.

The week encourages students to speak up about bullying, and for schools to create a safe place where everyone feels supported and respected, and their voices are heard and valued.

Presenting their musical during Bullying No Way: National Week of Action, the students of PSS are taking a stand against bullying, and embracing one other in a space where everyone belongs.

Purple is the hero colour representing Bullying No Way: National Week of Action, and students, staff and visitors are encouraged to dress in purple on Friday.

If purple is not your colour, you can dress in florals to match the musical title, or gardening clothes to connect with the characters in “the garden that time forgot”.

The musical opens tomorrow with a matinee at midday, followed by an evening show at 7pm.
