PSHS students reunite

The Pittsworth State High School (PSHS) Class of 2014 gathered in town on Saturday, 28th September, to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of their graduation.

Reminiscing over snaps from the 2014 class photo album were Brendan Free, Jessica Clapham, Brendan Schaumburg, Georgia Nielsen, Rebekah Nielsen, Clint Caldicott, Sam Olischlager, Caitlin Andrews, Jeremy Baker, Jakita Edney and Sam Gillespie.

The morning commenced with a school tour led by current teacher and 2014 year level co-ordinator, Jenny Sullivan.

Alumni members revisited the grounds and key classrooms, inciting memories of both the fond times and the challenges of high school.

Some of the memories shared amongst the group included having to sit in the open air amphitheatre in alphabetical order for parade during the cold winter mornings, chasing escaping cattle from the agricultural yards, grasping organic chemistry in the science laboratory and surviving
the pressure of the
Masterchef cooking competition.

Dinner and drinks followed at the Pittsworth Hotel Motel where past students congregated to catch up.

A year level photo album provided an opportunity to spot some familiar faces and look back upon some of the key events of the 2014 schooling year.

A special thanks must go to Sam Wheeldon who organised the event and reached out to  the 2014 class.

No matter if you are now near or far, our times at PSHS remain a connection between us all and remain a part of our journeys.
