Praise for Pittsworth RSL Sub-branch
Pittsworth RSL Sub-branch hosted visitors from Western Districts RSL Branch this week.
The visit, on Monday, was part of ongoing regional tours to check in on Sub-branches and see how they are going.
Vice President Mike Vogler showed various items of memorabilia and shared some local stories of those who had served.
Head of League Development for RSL Queensland John Hardgrave said he was impressed by the growing museum collection of memorabilia held by the Pittsworth Sub-branch and the valuable stories.
He said active and busy sub-branches such as this one would play an important role in inspiring the next generation to be involved.
