The famous Postle Gift spring delivered plenty of thrills at Club Pittsworth last Saturday.

A brilliant afternoon of athletic prowess was on display with some fun events for local littlies woven into the program ahead of the much-anticipated big sprints. 

Gold Coast sprinter Anas Abu Ganaba, 26, took the main title winning the Arthur Postle Gift in 7.47 seconds ahead of P. Nwoko, L. Gander and J. Forrest.

The Queensland Athletic Association event pays tribute to Pittsworth
world championship holder Arthur Postle, who was known as ‘The Crimson Flash’ at the height of his career in the early 1900s.
