Police sector meeting looks at rural crime
Officers in Charge from Police Stations in outlying divisions met with Country Patrol Inspector Danny Shaw in Pittsworth recently.
“We discussed ongoing challenges for small communities such as rural crime,” Sgt Tim Hoffman said.
“The meeting also focussed on traffic and targeting hooning drivers as well as drivers under the influence of liquor,” he said.
The catch-ups between officers in charge happens every three months.
