The awards were held at Rusty’s Bar and Grill on Saturday evening.

Each of the entrants completed an interview with the judging panel made up of Paula Boatfield, Lyndelle Neal, Brett Boatfield and Matthew Petty.

“How lucky are we to have this opportunity to get to know and appreciate the enthusiasm and commitment to the agricultural arena?” Ms Neale said.

“We prefer to get to know each entrant through conversation and learning what drives their ambitions and the how and why they have committed to their communities, has been our focus.”

Last year’s Showgirl,  Beccy Karlisch, reflected on her experience in the role across the last 12 months.

“This role has been more than just a title for me,” she said.

“It has been a personal challenge and journey of growth.

“I wanted to show others, especially young people, they too can step outside their comfort zones, contribute to their communities, and grow into confident individuals.”

Miss Karlisch then presented the 2025 Showgirl award to 18-years-old Brianna Gartner.

Sophie Lack was the Runner-up.

Prior to the announcement of Junior Showgirl, last year’s awardee Jess Hegarty shared her involvement  with the Pittsworth Show over the years, and words of wisdom for the entrants.

“The Showgirl journey truly opened my eyes, and forced me out of my comfort zone.

“Public speaking was something that I dreaded before starting Showgirl... but my skills and confidence have grown considerably,” she said.

“To the 2025 candidates, best of luck and well done for pushing yourselves to be a part of this wonderful experience.”

“Where you can, jump in head first and take hold of every single opportunity that is presented to you,” Miss Hegarty said.

She presented 13-years-old Mackenzie Lions with the sash for Junior Showgirl.

Mylee Ball was the Runner-up.

Pittsworth local, 22-years-old Brooke Ball received the Rural Ambassador title.

Showgirl Co-ordinator Amanda Riehl was thanked by each of the entrants for her support throughout the experience.
