Ten ladies attended the free event hosted by YellowBridge Queensland and presented by artist Kristy Richardson from Kreate It.

The event is part of a six-workshop series being held by YellowBridge in Pittsworth, Oakey, Clifton, Crows Nest, Millmerran and Yarraman.

The program is funded by the Queensland Government Department of Housing Stay Connected Fund as a social inclusion initiative for women aged over 55 years.

The fund supports one-off projects that build connection between Queenslanders and reduce feelings of social isolation and loneliness.

Participants learn how to create a series of pen and watercolour paintings based on a botanical theme.
