Pilton Hall hosts trivia night
Fourteen very competitive teams attended the Pilton Hall trivia night held recently.
The hall was filled with chatter and laughter as the community enjoyed the social and the need to win atmosphere.
The winning team was “Trivia Newton John”.
Further competitions played throughout the night were Heads & Tails and tearing a Mintie wrapper into the longest length.
Concentration was written on the faces of the players as they painstakingly tore the wrapper and Peter Burrows was the winner with the length of approximately 2 metres.
A delicious chicken or beef roll with gravy and salad, prepared by committee members was served to teams on arrival by young volunteers Charlie, May and JJ, followed by a platter of sweets for dessert.
There was a multi draw raffle and the committee would sincerely like to thank the donors of prizes - Pursehouse Rural, Mitre Ten Hardware, Jacob James Mechanical, Lockyer Cut Flowers, Darling Downs Zoo, Malcom Sypher, Eddie Starr Painting and committee members.
Thank you to all who supported the Pilton Hall Committee and looking forward to seeing you next year.
