One person dead and another critical after crash at Bowenville
One person has died and another is in a critical condition following a crash between a truck and a car on Warrego Highway at Bowenville this morning.

The two patients, a 29-years-old woman and a 35-years-old man, were the occupants of a car which collided with a truck on the Warrego Highway.
The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene while the man was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition with serious injuries to his arms and legs.
A third patient, a 35-year-old man who was the driver of the truck, was transported to Dalby Hospital via ambulance in a stable condition.
Emergency services were called to the incident at the corner of the Warrego Highway and Newton Stephen Road, west of the the Bowenville township turnoff at about 8.30am Friday morning.
Early investigations indicate the vehicles were travelling in opposite directions when they collided head-on.
The highway was shut for several hours, while police and emergency services cared for the occupants of the vehicles involved, but has since reopened.
The Forensic Crash Unit is appealing for any witnesses to the crash, or anyone with dashcam footage of either vehicle before the crash, to contact police.
