Oakey Scout Group celebrates Founder’s Day
Oakey Scout Group members recently celebrated Founders Day with activities at their den in Stanley Street.
All sections met together on the same night to remember Robert Bayden-Powell and learn a little more about him and his life and the beginning of Scouting.
And 165 years after his birth, and 115 years since Scouting commenced the Oakey Group celebrated with the oldest and youngest Youth Members cutting a cake to mark the occasion.
