Oakey hosts annual golf carnival
The Oakey Golf Club hosted Clifton in the annual Cli/Oak Shield on Saturday, August 7 with the Oakey team winning the event, 337 points to 328 points.
Oakey winners Matthew Park, Hazel Harvey and Gary Nash.
The Oakey winners were Matthew Park and Gary Nash with 48 points.
The runners-up were John O’Keefe and Paul Jones with 44 points.
Rundown went to Michael and Mikey Rietveld, 43 points, and Michael Rietveld and George Wright, 43 points.
Congratulations goes to Wayne Lucht who had an Eagle on the 7th Hole.
The Clifton winners were Douglas Macbeth and Julia Ritson with 43 points.
The runners-up were Paul Laverty and Colin Shields with 42 points.
Rundown went to Colin Hoey and Avril Millard, 42 points, and Cameron and Lindsay Fiechtner, 42 points.
