Oakey High Ag Team wins at Ekka
Oakey State High Schools Ag team travelled to Brisbane to participate in the Prime Beef Young Judges event.
RIGHT: Oakey High’s Skye Rose placed first in the Prime Beef Young Judges event.
From a large line-up of participants, Oakey High’s Skye Rose was placed first, and took home a ribbon.
The school only has two steers and the school farm is mostly known for its population of angora goats.
Ag Team Co-ordinator Debbie Goudie told a statewide news outlet she was proud of the team.
