Oakey children thank police for their service
Kids Patrol Oakey Academy welcomed Oakey Police Senior Constable Warren Schefe to its centre last week to thank him as well as all local police for their service as part of National Police Remembrance Day.

Kids Patrol director Sandra Lucht said the event provided the children with an opportunity to personally thank Senior Constable Schefe for his work.
“The children all showed their respect towards the police officer by saying thank you for their service,” Ms Lucht said.
“The children all took the opportunity to ask Constable Schefe about his role as a police officer.
“Kids Patrol staff and children would like to thank all police officers for their duties on the front line.”
National Police Remembrance Day was held on Wednesday, September 29 with services held across the country to mark the sacrifice fallen police officers have made for their local communities.
